Kampong add fresh faces to line-up for 2021/22 season

SV Kampong have announced a number of additions to their first team panel for the upcoming Dutch Hoofdklasse season with Caspar Dobbelaar the latest new arrival at the Klapperboom.

He moves from Hurley while Moritz Kentmann has added to their goalkeeping options following a switch from Berliner HC.

Otherwise, the club has moved five players up from the youth section into the senior selection. Mats Gruter made an impact last season, scoring the winner against Pinoké in one of his appearances and he is joined by fellow youngsters Daan Smits , Tom Verheijen and the twins Freek and Julius Schwartz.

On the flip side, ex-international Martijn Havenga has decided to hang up his stick, as has Jasper Luijkx. Pepijn Luijkx switches to Schaerweijde  and Joren Romijn is on his way to AH&BC Amsterdam.

Kampong will meet Dinamo Elektrostal in the men’s EHL Ranking Cup on September 30.

Den Bosch are also in action on that day, facing Saint Germain at the event in Dragons. Their panel has also changed significantly.

Coming in are – among nine new additions – Jair van der Horst (Tilburg), Fabian Unterkircher (SV Arminen, Austria), Dylan Wotherspoon (Australia) and Paul-Philipp Kaufmann (TSV Mannheim).

Moving on from Eric Verboom’s line-up are Loic van Doren (Dragons), Noud Schoenaker (Pinoké), Daniel Aarts (Pinoké) and Jelle Galema (Oranje-Rood).
